Innerworld aka Panos Chatzigeorgiadis is a solo artist that his music is mainly influenced by elements of both hard trance and hard house.Although at the beginning of his career as a musician he started to work on a variety of styles, (from ambient to electro themes) he was always characterised by his tendency to remain in the category of music better-known as electronica.Certainly as he was growing up musically and gaining experience in the field, his music ended up to a more dance-orientated style which is also characterised by the dominant pumping beat and the existance of melodic schemes in each track.
Innerworld although he prefers to sound as original as possible, draws inspiration from both artists that nowdays dominate the international dance scene such as Paul van Dyk, Nick Bracegirdle aka Chicane, and of course famous Dj's such as Paul Oakenfold and Sasha with their massive club sets. Furthermore he also draws a lot of influence (at least as his very first projects are concerned) by past masters and pionners of electronic music such as Jean - Michel Jarre (considered to be the father of electronic music in it's modern form) and certainly the massive success German Group of the 70's and 80's - Kraftwerk- who have unbtoughtelly contributed to the shaping of how we think of electronic music today.
Since his very first beginning dealing with music in his homeland (Greece) in 1998 he was involved in a number of projects with local artists but since then many things have changed both in the way that he thinks about making music and certainly the music scene in Greece itsself..Therefore he decided to follow another way of promoting his musical ideas so he is currentlly establishing a number of collaborations mainly in the U.K. with other artists that share the same taste in music. More speciffically Innerworld has already signed up with "Thirdwave Music" record label which is owned by Matt Gall better known for a number of massive releases through his label such as "Then comes night... " (winner in the European and U.K. "Masters of the Groove" sponsored by Roland - also licensed by Tracid Traxxx) "Break of Dawn" and certainly the very influencial "Light up the stars" under the "The Afterglow" project. Innerworld and Third wave (Matt Gall) are currentlly working on a future release through "Thirdwave Music" (available on June/July of 2001) called "Distant Planet E.P." and will include three different tracks entitled "Outersphere", "Destination-x" and "Distant Planet"...
